Counsel - Finance & Securitization - Independent Law Firm

Established in Luxembourg since ten years, this US-based law firm offers high-level legal services across five core areas: corporate, finance, fund, tax, and regulatory. With a team of 50 professionals, including 25 lawyers, the firm stands out for its entrepreneurial spirit, zero turnover, and supportive approach to long-term career development.

Counsel - Your Responsibilities:

• Advise an international client base on structured finance and securitization transactions, bringing strong legal insight and commercial awareness.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of finance-related transactional documents in collaboration with clients and cross-practice teams.
• Work on cross-border mandates in coordination with global stakeholders and other jurisdictions.
• Attend client meetings and travel occasionally, depending on project needs.
• Mentor junior members of the finance team (currently composed of 4 professionals).
• Play an active role in the continued development of the firm's finance practice.

Counsel - Profile Required:

• 2 to 7 years of experience in finance law, with a strong focus on structured finance and securitizations, ideally gained within a law firm as a lawyer, Counsel, or junior Partner.
• Registered with the Luxembourg Bar (List I or IV).
• A solid, stable career path; candidates with an in-house background may be considered if the financial expertise is strong.
• Prior experience in Luxembourg is mandatory.
• Fluent English is essential; any additional language is a plus.
• Autonomous, client-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative and technical environment.
