The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines.

We have more than 350 employees, with different backgrounds and 19 nationalities.


Together we work daily to ensure the efficient operation of the airport and to provide a quality service to our passengers.

In order to continue to meet our commitments and to develop other projects, we are currently recruiting : an IT Business Relation Manager for our IT department.


The aim of this recruitment is to optimize internal and external business relations related to IT issues. The IT Business Relation Manager will be the key contact person between IT and other internal departments or service providers.

Your responsibilities


Your daily tasks

  • Implementing, monitoring and developing a system for steering IT service contracts (anticipating needs, workload management, setting up and monitoring performance indicators, evaluation, continuous improvement and maintenance of the various services, etc.)
  • Defining the content and implementation methods of IT services, drafting service contract descriptions and participating in the development and deployment of service contracts
  • Ensuring the administrative and economic follow-up of service contracts and subcontracts and producing reports for clients
  • Acting as an ambassador of the IT department to other departments, partners and ensuring good relations with the company and all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Defining the different phases of IT projects by implementing effective quality assurance, ensuring overall project integrity and compliance with IT security, relevant IT service management processes and associated performance indicators
  • Ensuring feasibility of projects and adequate funding for their implementation
  • Assessing and mitigating risks to IT projects
  • Documenting partners' needs and expectations by conducting analyses. Verify the feasibility and ensure that the implemented solutions are in line with the expressed needs
  • Focusing on strategic projects and ensuring that they are delivered on time and on budget
  • Being responsible for reporting and communicating information on IT projects to key stakeholders
  • Liaising with external partners/suppliers on various IT projects/activities
  • Identifying new customer requirements or value-creating services and analysing project demand, risks (qualitative, budgetary, contractual and planning) and opportunities
  • Reviewing and assimilating the commitment levels reflected in the contract and negotiating services with suppliers

Your other missions

  • Participating in the definition of departmental and team objectives and priorities in order to align and maintain them with the company's objectives
  • Regularly evaluating departmental and team objectives, plans, procedures and practices and making appropriate changes where necessary
  • Actively participating in the drafting of all repository documents (policies, procedures, standards, etc.) and taking responsibility for the continuous improvement of processes and the formulation of action plans
  • Contributing to the preparation of the IT strategy and budget
  • Participating in the integration of new employees

The required profile


Studies / training :

Master’s degree in IT or relevant experience in a similar position


Experience :

4 years’ successful experience in an equivalent position

Languages :

Mandatory:

  • English : fluency in written and oral
  • French: fluency in written and oral.

Specific knowledge linked to the job:

  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks 
  • Valid B driving licence
