The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing :
· Developing the department as a key service unit to support the various business units to support a strategic approach to the team
· Developing and coordinating a team of experts in different operational areas, including winter operations, operational systems and project managers.
· Establishing and managing the department's budget while developing the department's activities
· Ensuring compliance of operations with the EASA and Luxembourg Airport certification basis, taking into account current regulations and future developments, and ensuring that key plans (emergency plan, terminal evacuation plan, BCP, ...) remain up to date, are known and tested
· Further develop the operations control role to include short and long term forecasting but also the development of an information based decision culture (including data capture, simulation,) and the resulting short term capability development. Particular attention is paid to the airport's slot allocation.
· Being responsible for the preparation of operational forecasts for daily, weekly and seasonal planning and operational statistics
· Leading the short-term (seasonal and five-year) capacity planning of the operational infrastructure, creating optimization plans and linking them to the airport and terminal master planning.
· Supervising/coordinating/align the various operational projects, projects with operational impact as well as lead/participate in projects that are more complex.
· Managing and developing the various contracts and service level agreements with key commercial and government partners.
Must-have requirements
What you will need :
Education / training :
- Postgraduate degree (Master) or equivalent experience
Experience :
- 10 years of relevant experience in the airport or aviation field
Languages :
- French: fluent in speaking and writing
- English and/or German : fluent in speaking
Nice-to-have requirements
Knowledge of all aspects of airport operations, relevant international and national ICAO, EASA standards and recommendations, their interpretation and industry best practices
