The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines.
We have more than 350 employees, with different backgrounds and 19 nationalities.
Together we work daily to ensure the efficient operation of the airport and to provide a quality service to our passengers.
Thanks to everyone's commitment, we live up to our motto of being the best-in-class airport. Our reputation is also reflected in a few key figures: by the end of 2022, for example, we reached 4.05 million passengers and 975,000 tonnes of cargo.
In order to continue to meet our commitments and to develop other projects, we are currently recruiting : a Head of IT.

Your responsibilities
- Steering the operational management of the Information Systems and ensuring their high availability
- Initiating and managing all future development projects
- Organizing, supervising and ensuring the appropriate size of IT teams by carrying out appropriate training and recruitment operations (employees and service providers)
- Directing the management of Information Systems, associated services and their ongoing operational maintenance, and ensuring a high level of service quality in a critical international context
- Defining strategic IT and technology guidelines as part of a continuous improvement process: security and governance policy, outsourcing strategy, changes in user services, etc.
- Meeting and anticipating the needs of the company's business lines in line with the company's strategy
- Defining and defending the department's budgets on the basis of business needs and desired developments
- Presenting IT strategy to the business lines and actively contributing to cross-business collaboration
- Advising the CEO on strategic orientations
- Keeping a technological and legal watch on developments in information systems

The required profile
Studies / training :
Master’s degree in IT or relevant experience in a similar position
Experience :
10 years’ successful experience in an equivalent position
Skills and knowledge required:
Languages :
Mandatory:
- English: fluent spoken and written
- French: fluent spoken and written
Specific knowledge linked to the job:
- Strong experience as a manager
- Capacity of managing complex environment
- Driving licence B
