The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines.

We have more than 350 employees, with different backgrounds and 19 nationalities.


Together we work daily to ensure the efficient operation of the airport and to provide a quality service to our passengers.

Thanks to everyone's commitment, we live up to our motto of being the best-in-class airport. Our reputation is also reflected in a few key figures: by the end of 2022, for example, we reached 4.05 million passengers and 975,000 tonnes of cargo.


In order to continue to meet our commitments and to develop other projects, we are currently recruiting : a Team Leader for our IT Service Desk.


The objective of this recruitment is to reinforce the current team within the IT department and to provide managerial support to the IT Service Desk.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Supervising all the company's IT systems, being responsible for the continuous improvement of the service and propose innovative solutions to improve the level of service provided
  • Supervising and organising the entire team and the tasks inherent in the Service Desk
  • Planning the team's actions and exceptional interventions
  • Creating a group dynamic within the team by implementing a new operating mode and ensuring that this system is followed
  • Delegating responsibilities and assigning specific tasks to team members in order to specialise staff and increase the efficiency of the services provided
  • Identifying the development needs of team members
  • Maintaining records of daily office operations to track customer needs and service delivery
  • Monitoring tickets and providing statistics
  • Maintaining the stock of IT equipment, in particular by organising and carrying out various inventories
  • Writing and reviewing Service Desk procedures
  • Keeping the Service Desk's operational documentation up to date
  • Managing or actively participating in network, system and/or application domain projects
  • Organising support for external companies
  • Coordinating and monitoring internal tenant requests
  • Drafting specifications and conducting calls for tenders in the field
  • Participating in the integration of new employees

The required profile

 

Studies / training :

Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience in a similar role

 

Experience :

5 years' experience in a similar role

 

Skills and knowledge required:

Microsoft Office suite.

Nice-to-have:

Ticketing system GLPI.


Languages:

Mandatory:

  • French: fluent spoken and written
  • English: fluent spoken and written

 

Specific knowledge linked to the job:

  • Personal interest in IT news
  • Willing to learn and an inquisitive mind
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks 
  • Experience in Team management
  • Valid B driving licence
