Fund Accountant for Fund Administration

Our client is looking for a fund accountant specializes in fund administration for alternative investment managers, covering asset classes such as private equity, debt, and real estate. 

As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of daily accounting for at least one entity. You will take full ownership of bookkeping, payments and preparation of financial accounts. Some examples of tasks :

• Conducting detailed reviews of cash transactions and monthly/quarterly accruals.

• Managing bookkeeping transactions and maintaining accounting records for multiple client entities.

• Preparing account reconciliations, promptly identifying and correcting variances.

• Producing interim and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards.

• Resolving unreconciled items between bank records and internal systems.

• Meeting all reporting deadlines, managing workload proactively, and supporting team members when needed.

• Liaising professionally with third parties, including auditors and legal professionals.

As a Fund Accountant, your profile includes:

• Strong academic background and actively pursuing a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).

• At least 2 years experience in a similar environment. 

• A proactive and responsive approach to work.

• A strong sense of accountability, monitoring tasks and ensuring commitments are met.

• High motivation and enthusiasm for taking on challenges with urgency and dedication.
