Our client, a European institution, is looking for an Operational Assistant who speaks English. This is a temporary contract and a full-time position. The job starts as soon as possible.

  • The candidate manages incoming emails from some functional shared mailboxes.
  • He manages the administrative aspects of cash operations, such as storing / organising documents.
  • The candidate maintains excellent relationships with clients at all times.
  • He makes suggestions to improve key administrative processes in the Division and assists in due implementation of any such improvements.
  • The candidate will have internal contact with internal services and daily interaction with other members of the team.
  • He will also have external contact with financial intermediaries, mandators, auditors and other relevant external counterparties, as applicable.

  • The candidate has a certified secondary-level education complemented with a 2-year certification in a relevant field (financial / banking sector or other).
  • He has prior professional experience, preferably in operations, middle office, accounting or in financial audit.
  • The candidate has good understanding of financial products (equity, guarantees, loans) in the assigned domain of responsibilities.
  • He has excellent numerical skills.
  • The candidate has good knowledge of the standard IT & office tools (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and is familiar with Electronic Documents Management.
  • He has excellent knowledge of English (oral and written). Knowledge of one of the other European languages would be an advantage.
