- In the role of [job_title] within our client's Luxembourg office, you will be responsible for supporting the lawyers in conducting KYC and KYT analyses, aligning with the firm's guidelines, and evaluating AML/CFT risks during customer due diligence processes.
- You will manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and requests, addressing them appropriately as needed.
- Collaborating with clients, as well as internal and external contacts, will be a key part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
- Your tasks will include organizing meetings, securing venues, and ensuring timely preparation of distribution materials.
- Coordinating business trips and handling the logistics will also fall under your purview.
- Document formatting, letter writing, report editing, and managing various administrative tasks will be core aspects of your role.
- As part of your support function, you may occasionally assist with accounting tasks for other team assistants.
- Providing general office management support to lawyers, you will help with tasks such as document signature, legalisation, and apostille processes.
- Your duties will encompass a range of secretarial tasks including file archiving, managing mail, emails, faxes, and DHL shipments.
Profile
- You should ideally have at least 2 years' experience as an assistant in an international and multilingual environment, with possible experience in a law firm being an asset;
- You have an interest in AML/CFT or compliance matters and seek to enhance your skills in that area. Knowledge of the Luxembourg AML/KYC environment would be beneficial;
- Fluency in English and French is a must. Knowledge of German or Luxembourgish would be beneficial;
- You exhibit a high level of organization, attention to detail, and understand the significance of meeting deadlines;
- You can handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion;
- Possessing good interpersonal skills, a customer-centric attitude, and a team-player mentality are essential;
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, multitask efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively amidst conflicting demands.
