Maintenance Mechanical Technician

We are looking for Maintenance Mechanical Technician to join our Mercury Plant in Dudelange.
You will have the opportunity to:

Position Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanical technician to join our team at Goodyear Mercury Plant. The Maintenance Mechanician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment and machinery to uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Drive to zero equipment breakdown by setting a high-quality standard of preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Repair and replace defective parts in various automotive systems, such as engines, brakes, and hydraulics.
- Participate in spare parts management.
- Lead and work together as a team with required outside companies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
Requirements:
- Technical degree OR significant experience.
- Strong knowledge in mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - combined with the capability to lead and coach co-workers.
