We are looking for a

Technical Project Assistant – CO2 (m/f/d)

You will assist our CO2 team in the different phases of projects, from the elaboration of technical concepts providing solutions for our customers, up to the realisation of basic engineering, as well as in the execution of R&D projects.

Your activities will require working in a multidisciplinary team and involving contact and direct communication with customers and suppliers.


Your main tasks:

  • Development of technical specifications for customer and/or sub-suppliers
  • Support in the preparation of technical offers
  • Technical evaluation of offers
  • Development of bills of quantities
  • Elaboration of lists of deliverables and their follow-up
  • Supervision, coordination and control of sub-contractors carrying out engineering work for the projects
  • Technical project follow-up of the internal engineering team
  • Follow-up / Pursuing of R&D projects, including follow up of a pilot plant operation.

What do we expect?

  • Degree in mechanical, EIC, process or chemical engineering or in other comparable technical fields
  • At least 5 years of experience preferably in the steel industry or in a similar industrial environment combined with some experience in technical project coordination
  • Availability for short-term assignments abroad
  • Fluency in English. German and/or French language skills are considered as an advantage
  • High level of initiative and responsibility and full commitment to the assigned projects
  • Affinity for R&D and willingness to enter and build up know-how in new fields of technology
  • Ability to work in a professional and independent manner and to quickly integrate in a dynamic multinational team.
