Senior System Engineer (m/f)

Our client

We are actively looking for a Senior System Engineer (m/f) for one of our clients based in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• You will have to install and configure Windows servers, but also to build the server’s back-end architecture, including databases and scripts for some applications and user needs.
• You ensure technical support and guidance to users and other IT departments.
• You also provide system maintenance, mostly on the back-end server (error logs and user-reported errors’ review).
• You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance in order to minimize interruptions and server crashes (daily traffic logs and reports monitoring, direct work with end users, etc.)
• You will be in charge of maintaining system security by reporting faults and vulnerabilities within server’s architecture.

Your profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Windows & VMware administration for large environments.
• You are a Windows, VMware and Citrix environments expert.
• You are used to manage Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• You are experienced with PowerShell and Batch scripting.
• You can provide support for Citrix Netscaler, XenApp, XenDesktop and StoreFront.
• You are familiar with VMware virtualization technologies.
• You speak French fluently and you have a good English level.
