As a structural mechanic, you will contribute to repairing physical damage and getting the aircrafts back in the air. As a structural mechanic, you will be responsible to:
- Repair, overhaul, and modify sheet metal components in the shop and sheet metal repairs on the aircraft.
- Carry out structural repairs in accordance with approved Maintenance data.
- Provide end-of-shift verbal or written handovers to team members and superiors.
- Operate the shop equipment and machines according to your authorization.
- Maintain and service shop equipment and machines as per instructions.
- Apply the 5S principles to keep the workspace clean and safe.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- At least a Technical Diploma (e.g., CATP, DAP) or equivalent level of education
- Interested in working with sheet metal;
- Good knowledge and understanding technical drawings;
- Ability to work independently as well is a team;
- Willing to work at height or in confined spaces;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Good computer knowledge in MS Office.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, based in Luxembourg.
- Rotating shift schedule (early and late shift), Monday-Friday.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
- A valid driving license will be required.
- Category of the position is depending on the experience of the selected candidate.
- The internal title of the position would be "Jr. Mechanic Sheet Metal Shop".
