As a Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible to:
- Accomplish installation and removal of engine components;
- Initiate ordering of parts and supplies;
- Maintain and operate the shop tooling and equipment according to your approval and training;
- Provide verbal and written handover to your team members and superiors.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- At least a Technical Diploma (e.g., CATP, DAP) or equivalent level of education
- Minimum three years' experience in engine maintenance
- Good understanding of schematics. drawings, manuals, and working procedures
- Mature attitude, ability to work independently
- Good computer knowledge in MS Office applications
- Fluent command of English (written and spoken)
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position based in Luxembourg.
- Rotating shift schedule (early and late shift), Monday-Friday.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- Regular presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
- The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
- Occasionally may be asked to work outside his normal working schedule, but still within Luxembourg law and Collective Work Agreement regulations.
