The Luxembourg Bankers’ Association represents over 250 banks and professionals of the financial sector promoting the sustainable development of regulated, innovative, and responsible banking services in Luxembourg.
We are currently recruiting a
Digital, Innovation and Payments Trainee (m/f) – up to 12 months
Your Mission
- Provide technological and regulatory watch on payments, innovation and digital banking
- Provide support to ABBL Payments Cluster, FinTech and Innovation Forum, and Working Group meetings on data economy, green ICT adoption, user experience in banking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, distributed ledger technology, and etc.
- Support the advocacy efforts of the ABBL Digital team
- Contribute to the development and administration of ABBL surveys and market studies, as well as analysis of the collected data including drafting of survey reports
- Draft articles and other publications for ABBL website and social media about ABBL digital, innovation and payments activity, goals and achievements
- Review SEPA Direct Debit database
- Provide support regarding the preparation of internal and external meetings and events (slides, data gathering, minutes, etc.), agenda coordination and outreach to ABBL members and other stakeholders
- Assisting with launching and execution of new digital initiatives for the interest of ABBL members
- Participate in the day-to-day tasks of the team (such as document management, preparation for meetings with new and existing ABBL members, management of members’ network, team meetings)
Your Profile
- A passion for digital, innovation, payments, and emerging technologies for banking and finance
- A Bachelor or a Master ’s degree in Digital Finance, IT Sciences, Banking and Finance or other relevant fields of studies with an interest in developing experience in the banking sector
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Fluency in English (oral and written) and ideally French
- Good command of standard Office software
