Business Analyst – Investments

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated business analyst with to join our diverse and inclusive team Savings, Investments & Client Advice. As a business analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing our investment products and processes following the ING Way of Working principles.

Your in-depth understanding of investment products and relevant regulations will enable you to identify opportunities for optimization, recommend changes, and drive successful implementations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while embracing the ING Way of Working.

Squad Customer Securities Transactions is responsible for transactional part of the investments client journey, to keep the bank safe and improve the client experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of relevant investment regulations or product changes
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders throughout the organisation in order to ensure that the product is in line with the strategy of the bank and relevant regulations
  • Carry out functional analyses. Define requirements collaboratively with stakeholders and end-users.
  • Conduct testing and ensure quality assurance.
  • Manage incidents and provide product support.
  • Create and maintain product and client documentation.
  • Manage projects using Agile methodologies and monitor progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recommend product & process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in product or project management, preferably in investments
  • Strong knowledge of investments in a banking environment. ESG knowledge is considered as a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines

Languages: 

  • Excellent knowledge of English and/or French, with a good command of the other.
