Description
As part of your assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice areas, with a particular focus on corporate mergers and acquisitions:- You will draft standard legal documents in connection with day-to-day client requests (name changes, registered office changes, company formations and dissolutions, minutes of boards of directors and shareholders' meetings) for several jurisdictions in the EMEA region;
- You manage publications and notifications to the Luxembourg Trade Registry;
- You will proofread, check and revise documents;
- You are responsible for the organization of signatures, legalizations and apostilles of necessary documents;
- You manage the data room, ensuring document collection and version control;
- You communicate with various third parties and stakeholders (notaries, international law firms, banks, service providers, etc.);
- You translate legal documents;
- You maintain and organize your customers' corporate files;
- You interact with banks to open and close accounts, manage signing authorities and ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements;
- You use IT tools such as electronic document management (EDM), electronic signature and SharePoint;
- You keep organization charts and activity monitoring tables up to date.
Profile
The ideal candidate:- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English and French, with an asset for any additional language;
- Demonstrates rigorous organization and understands the importance of meeting deadlines;
- Demonstrates a strong sense of customer service and confidentiality, while being meticulous in his or her work;
- Is responsive, dynamic and detail-oriented;
- Has a good command of the latest computer tools adapted to the requirements of the job;
- Demonstrates strong writing and proofreading skills;
- Is adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team;
- Has a good knowledge of Luxembourg's legal and regulatory environment;
- Has a degree or equivalent experience of at least one year in a relevant field.
