Once again, the Unicareers fair broke its own record this year, welcoming 6,970 visitors compared to 6,844 last year, that’s over a hundred additional participants for this 12th edition! On Friday, 26 September 2025, no fewer than 98 Luxembourg exhibitors greeted visitors at Luxexpo The Box. Let’s take a look back at this unmissable event for young professionals in Luxembourg.
Capturing the attention of young talent
Ahead of the event, Moovijob.com rolled out a multi-channel communication strategy designed specifically to attract students looking for internships as well as young professionals, with up to five years’ experience, seeking their next career move. Thanks to a strong network of academic partners in Luxembourg and neighbouring countries, an exclusive partnership with the leading media outlet Luxemburger Wort, the support of several local and cross-border media partners, and dynamic promotion across social media platforms, the event reached maximum visibility among a young and highly qualified audience. The result? Thousands of talents drawn in to meet the needs of Luxembourg’s thriving job market.
"I discovered the event thanks to a teacher at my school who recommended it to us," shared a student from Pigier Metz.
Maximising connections through tailored organisation
To make the most of the exchanges between talents and employers, a pre-selection phase was introduced. Once selected, candidates were able to prepare efficiently using the event’s dedicated website, which included the list of attending companies, available job offers, as well as practical information and a helpful F.A.Q. section. Preparation was further enriched through our social media channels and blog articles, including a complete guide to succeeding at the fair, tips on the best outfit to wear, and advice on delivering a strong elevator pitch. Two days prior to the event, pre-selected participants were also invited to an online information and networking session via Teams.
A participant who travelled with the free Moovijob.com shuttle from Saarbrücken explained: "I was able to check the full list of companies and job offers in advance on the event website, which allowed me to target those I wanted to meet. It was really useful for an IT profile like mine, since it’s such a broad field."
On the day itself, each visitor received the official guide published in Luxemburger Wort along with a floor plan of the fair. Upon arrival, attendees could make use of a variety of services: cloakroom facilities, a giant floor plan of the fair, a QR code wall listing all available job offers, and a Lounge Area sponsored by LGX – Luxembourg Geek Xperience, perfect for grabbing a bite, taking a break, or enjoying arcade games. The Moovijob.com team was also present at the Info Stand to welcome and guide young professionals throughout the day.
"I’ve already attended this type of event, but today the organisation is really excellent, and it’s very easy to find your way around," said a participant seeking a job in IT.

"A fantastic event, because it really brings recruiters closer to candidates. It’s so different from applying online," said one participant seeking an internship.
