Created in early 2024 by Moovijob.com, the "Attractiveness index" enables companies to measure their employer brand and, in doing so, their attractiveness to an increasingly demanding audience. Conducted during two major events in Luxembourg, a new study was carried out during the 12th edition of the Unicareers fair, held on 26 September at Luxexpo The Box. Which companies caught the interest of the 7,000 young talents who attended the event?
Simply attending an event has long since ceased to be enough for a company to recruit effectively. Today, the key is to know how to attract and inspire interest. Easier said than done, and not always straightforward to achieve in practice.
The Attractiveness index helps companies analyse their reputation and impact at such an event through three decisive criteria:
- The aesthetics of the stand (Is the stand warm and inviting? Does it have appealing decorations, colors, or activities? Does this stand make me want to engage with the company?)
- The clarity of the message (Is the company's message clear? Do I easily understand what the company does, its industry, its jobs, projects, and corporate culture?)
- The people at the stand (Are they welcoming? Do they make me want to interact with them?)
The average score of these three criteria gives the famous Attractiveness index. So, which companies managed to win over the wide audience at the 12th edition of the Unicareers fair?
Luxembourg Space Agency, Post Luxembourg and Banque centrale du Luxembourg on the podium
With an Attractiveness index of 4.72 out of 5, the Luxembourg Space Agency is reaching for the stars with a well-deserved first place. A well-designed stand, warm colours, entertainment and well-managed queues proved to be the winning formula for an undeniable success. Congratulations!
On the second step of the podium, we find POST Luxembourg (Attractiveness index = 4.66), which successfully attracted the public with a beautifully decorated stand and a clear, impactful message. Well done!
A big first for the Banque centrale du Luxembourg (Attractiveness index = 4.65), making its debut on the podium. A smiling team, along with an open and highly visual stand, enabled the company to spark genuine enthusiasm!
