Following the release of its first ranking of the most consulted Luxembourgish companies in 2023, Moovijob.com continues to show its expertise and to support businesses. The goal? To assist each company in positioning its employer brand relative to its peers and in the job market. To achieve this, Luxembourg's first recruitment media has created a new metric: the attractiveness index of a company.
The attractiveness index of a company??? What is that? This new metric, developed by Moovijob.com, allows companies to assess their employer brand in a job market that has never been more competitive. The lack of profiles in certain professions, combined with the rising expectations of candidates, drives companies to excel in terms of image and reputation. This attractiveness index helps them measure their employer brand at a given moment and also track their evolution over time based on implemented actions.
How is this attractiveness index measured?
Indicators vary depending on the format, whether digital or in-person, of the analysis conducted. The ranking of the most consulted companies in 2023 on Moovijob.com was an initial step for the online aspect and is based on the number of visits generated by each of the Luxembourgish job board's company pages. Moovijob.com is currently working on adding more criteria to measure a company's attractiveness index. However, this aspect remains confidential for now, so we won't disclose further information.
Regarding the in-person format, Moovijob.com took advantage of its largest job fair, the Moovijob Day Luxembourg, which took place on March 22nd, to measure the attractiveness index of the 179 participating companies.
Anonymous visitors wandered the event's aisles to assess each of the companies based on three criteria:
- The aesthetics of the stand (The warmth and friendliness, decoration, colors, activities... Does this stand make me want to engage with this company?)
- The clarity of the message (Is the company's message clear? Can I easily understand what the company does, its sector, its professions, its projects, its corporate culture? ...)
- The people at the stand (Are they welcoming? Do they make me want to interact with them?)
Analysing these three criteria allowed Moovijob.com to measure the attractiveness index of each of the 179 companies participating, on a day where they welcomed a record-breaking 18,113 visitors at Luxexpo The Box.
CTG Luxembourg, the Administration de la Navigation Aérienne, and Servior on the podium
With an attractiveness index of 4.84 out of 5, CTG Luxembourg takes the lead at this event and stood out by attracting over 500 visitors to its stand, thanks to its warm and impactful decoration.
The Administration de la Navigation Aérienne (attractiveness index = 4.83) follows closely behind the IT company and effectively demonstrates its crucial role in managing and operating various aspects of the Luxembourg airport.
As the national leader in elderly care in Luxembourg, SERVIOR ranks third with an attractiveness index of 4.78.
