After the success of the first Moovijob Day Luxembourg in Saarbrücken, the Job and Career Development Fair returned for a second edition at the Saarlandhalle on Friday, June 14th, 2024. A total of 3,540 visitors attended to meet 45 Luxembourgish companies, making the day a true success. Over 600 roles in various sectors were available. The fair was the perfect place to meet German-speaking, Franco-German, and international profiles.
Exploring new horizons
At job fairs, candidates seek to establish direct contact, an opportunity that doesn't exist on job boards, for example. Direct interactions with recruiters in a professional setting often provide valuable opportunities to effectively showcase one’s skills to potential future employers.
“The event is a great opportunity to connect with recruiters and make new contacts. I have already had some interesting conversations.” indicates a candidate searching for his/her dream job in Luxembourg.

Moreover, the fair serves as a valuable opportunity to receive advice and information on how to write a CV, interview preparation, and professional interactions.
“I thought I had a great resume, until I came here, and got the opportunity to network and get a lot of advice to improve my CV.” told us a participant who came from Italy to attend the fair.
