WAAGNER-BIRO LUXEMBOURG STAGE YSTEMS
Waagner-Biro Luxembourg Stage Systems S.A. is part of the Waagner-Biro Stage Systems Group, one of the world's largest suppliers of stage technology, with headquarters in Austria. As one of the global market leaders, the company develops and installs stage technology systems for opera houses, theatres, music halls, multi-purpose halls, and cruise ships. The main focus at the Luxembourg location in Rodange is developing the safety-related control system for the stage machinery "Computer-Aided Theatre" (C⋅A⋅T), which uses state-of-the-art technology to control the upper stage and lower stage machinery in more than 200 venues worldwide.
TASK DESCRIPTION
In the coming months, we aim to complete the consolidation of our various business processes - many of which are already automated and digitised in other systems - into a single global ERP system. Our goal is to have this system under our direct control for long-term maintenance and development, and to be able to quickly adapt it to the changing needs of our business models.
The ERP Application Developer will be responsible for implementing these digitised business processes in our ODOO ERP system. Working closely with management and process owners, you will analyse existing processes and data sources, utilising a wide range of expertise and implementation ideas from the current development team. You will map these concepts to the appropriate ODOO modules and plug-ins, implement the necessary data structures and visualisations, and document the system for long-term maintainability and expandability. As part of the company's IT department, the ERP application developer is responsible for the long-term maintenance and expansion of the system.
We also use ODOO to implement web-based services and restricted web content as part of our product portfolio. Together with our IT administration, the ERP application developer also takes care of the necessary customisations for these systems and ensures their smooth operation.
Your tasks include in particular:
- Discuss, understand and analyse existing processes and data and map this to ODOO modules, data structures and visualisations.
- Implement these processes in ODOO (configuration, database, coding).
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Code visualisations and dashboards as required by the business process owners.
- Code interfaces to other systems such as JIRA, SAP ERP, SAP C4C and others.
- Implement websites based on our corporate design and website design systems.
OUR REQUIREMENTS
An ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience. Of course, there is seldom a perfect match, so we welcome your application even if you need to familiarise yourself with one or other of the topics:
- Previous experience in implementing ODOO based ERP applications.
- Good general comprehension of business processes and business data from all relevant areas (finance, sales, human resources, supply chain management, project management, service) in order to understand and implement the requirements of the process owners.
- Proven knowledge of all relevant programming languages and frameworks (Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, Plotly Dash). Additional programming languages such as JavaScript and others will be considered beneficial.
- Good instinct for converting data into meaningful visualisations.
- You have strong intercultural competences.
- You have strong communication skills, and you are a team player.
- You have a high degree of self-motivation and hands-on mentality.
- You are fluent in English and French or English and German, both written and spoken.
