The position
As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and business development. You will act as the technical expert, translating our advanced indoor wireless connectivity solutions into understandable, value-driven propositions for potential clients. Your role will ensure the technical relevance and excellence of the solutions proposed, providing strategic support throughout the sales process.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to qualify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Provide technical advice and support to the sales team and potential clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our wireless indoor products and services.
- Actively participate in client meetings and technical presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions, particularly in the 5G private coverage domain.
- Draft and present detailed technical proposals, including system architecture, technology choices, cost estimates, and implementation plans.
- Address technical issues and provide innovative solutions during the pre-sales stage to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Solution Design and Innovation:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and design customized indoor coverage solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Design and size technical solutions for indoor mobile coverage and private 5G networks based on client demands.
- Work with engineering teams and suppliers to adapt solutions to project specifications and emerging technologies.
- Perform continuous technology watch, analyze market trends, and propose improvements to existing solutions.
Your profile
As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer (M/F), you bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales. You are the technical expert who translates our wireless indoor products and services into understandable terms for potential customers.
To thrive in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related IT field. You will also need a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales or engineering role within the telecommunications industry. This background will equip you with the technical acumen and industry knowledge necessary to support our sales activities effectively.
Your technical skills should include a strong knowledge of indoor wireless coverage technologies, such as Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Small Cells, and private 5G networks. You should have an in-depth understanding of telecom architectures, wireless communication protocols, and advanced connectivity solutions.
In addition to technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills are crucial. You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your analytical and problem-solving abilities will help you develop creative, innovative solutions to meet client requirements. You should be a strong team player, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments such as sales, engineering, and support. Moreover, excellent relationship-building skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction will be key to fostering long-term partnerships with our clients.
Language proficiency is also important. You should be fluent in both French and English. The role requires local travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, making mobility an important aspect of the position.
