We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test.
- Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
- English fluent is mandatory
You will be part of a Software Development team (Java, Javascript and Typescript developers)
- Enhance overall functional performance across mission‑critical applications.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize robust automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
- Ensure the highest level of product quality through proactive testing and continuous improvement.
- Apply strong Java software development expertise to build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (DevOps, Product, Architecture) to deliver high‑value features.
- Identify defects early in the development cycle and drive root‑cause analysis with relevant teams.
- Implement best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, propose architectural improvements, and support continuous delivery processes.
- Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines to reinforce testing automation and deployment reliability.
- Monitor application behavior and performance, suggesting improvements to enhance user experience.
Main skills :
- 4 years in SDET domain with the focus on REST API and Web UI Testing
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript / Typescript
- Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices and Web UI testing; software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
- Experience with testing frameworks (Junit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Gitlab)
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
