CTG PSF is an IT Services Company dedicated to various clients mainly in the financial sector.
We are currently hiring a Linux Engineer (M/W/X) for one of our customers.
The company is in the east of Luxembourg, between Luxembourg City and the German border.
Your missions
· Manage and administer Linux-based systems and ensure their optimal performance, availability, and security.
· Work with different teams to design, implement and maintain new monitoring rules in the current monitoring platform in line with business requirements.
· Analyze threshold and associated action to improve efficiency in the monitoring platform.
· Custom existing rules and creates new ones
· Responsible for updating or/and creating (new) documentation and for proving knowledge transfer to all.
Your profile
· You are passionate about IT and Linux systems, you have at least 3/5 years’ experience in Linux system administration.
· You have a deep interest and curiosity for monitoring platforms.
· You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
· You are a real Team Player and able to communicate with different operational and business teams
· You can identify and solve problems while proposing areas for improvement
· You are fluent in French & English
Technical skills mandatory :
· You have a good knowledge of Linux environment & Microsoft Server
· You have a good command of monitoring platforms (e.g Check-MK Nagios based- Grafana..)
· Significant experience of other monitoring platforms could be considered.
· A first experience with Azure-based solutions and experience with scripting languages as Shell, PowerShell or Bash
