Duties & Responsabilities :

•    Define the strategy for the configuration of the material management of PSIMetals, to set it up as a template for the FE-Mills. The material management scope includes all the events on material lifecycle, starting from the PO (Production Order) till the ready for shipment operations. This will be based on the preparation work done in the frame of the Scale-Up project and the common language for Flat Europe

•    Support the first implementation of Material Management made by PSI on the Sestao Mill, as learning path, and then contribute largely to the up of the AM Flat Europe template with the project of Fos and Saint-Chely.

•    Ensure the adoption of the template and safeguard it from any non-justified deviation, advising the sites and ensuring this will rely on the common language FE prepared by the CTO experts.

•    In a later phase, extend knowledge to support such implementations in other clusters Flat Europe and in Longs Europe as well. Also work in close cooperation with the Supply Chain Concerto project for the connections with this transversal template system.

•    The function will be performed in a team "CoE MES PSIMetals", with other internal experts and support of PSI. The team is in the perimeter of the FE D&IT Quality/Manufacturing organization.

•    Management: mainly horizontal collaboration with mills, PSI and Infosys. Also, a lot of interactions with technical experts of CTO (Products and Quality Processes).

•    Location: regular trips to the mills where implementation will be done (consider 1 or 2 days max a week). Nevertheless, virtual team concept is applied, and a lot of the tasks will be done remotely.

Education :

•       Master's degree in engineering and/or experience in Quality & Product expert systems

Skills & Specifications :

•       Processes and IT Systems “minded”. 

•       Knowledge of material management concepts (traceability, production registering, interactions with scheduling tools, interaction with quality tools…)

•       Ability to translate business needs in rules concepts

•       Good communication skills, to train end users’ experts to become autonomous

•       User oriented.

•       Team spirit, Good Analytical skills, abstract thinking, empathy.

•       Ability to make proposals related to process and/or continuous improvement plan.

•       Ability to synthetize complex situations to ease decision making by management.

•       Ability to adapt the discussion with quality and product expert actors.

•       Ability to interact/manage transversally, in remote teams, with external partners.

•       Must be self-motivated, highly responsible, and service oriented.


Work experience requirements :

•   Knowledge of material management concepts (traceability, production registering, interactions with scheduling tools, interaction with quality tools…)
