Fund Accountant & Transfer Agnecy Platform

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team of our renowned financial service client as a Fund Accounting & Transfer Agency (FATA) Platform Specialist (AC242). In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our capabilities by overseeing the implementation and operation of their FATA platforms provided by FIS and Fenergo.

We are searching for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in implementing and supporting FATA systems like Fen-X (Fenergo) and/or PCS (FIS). The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between their management team, FATA operations, vendors, and IT department.

As the FATA Platform Specialist, you will report directly to the FATA Product Owner and take on the following responsibilities for Private Capital Suite (PCS - fka Investran), Digital Data Exchange (DDX), Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and Fen-X/Investor Portal:

• Collaborate with end users to gather functional requirements and assess configuration needs.
• Manage the configuration of business and data migration rules on relevant systems, including external data and screening provider settings through APIs.
• Maintain static data related to investors, contacts, document types, and transactions.
• Design reports and templates to support operational and business events such as Capital Calls and Distributions.
• Perform promotion in Dev, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production tenants and maintain/publish relevant policies.
• Conduct occasional smoke tests during weekends in case of DR or large-scale changes.
• Develop and maintain procedures to support handling and activities in supported applications.
• Provide support and training to in-house users from the FATA team for daily use and basic troubleshooting.
• Continuously assess and recommend improvements to the platforms to enhance operational efficiency and end-user experience.
• Coordinate regular release management with vendors and disseminate release notes to end users.
• Create and maintain internal and external users in the relevant access layers and maintain rights and permissions in line with security management policies.
• For DDX, customize the data room to align with branding, adjust labels, and manage tab visibility. Additionally, create new custom tabs or dashboards as per the client’s specifications.
• Initiate tickets with both internal and external vendors, ensuring prompt resolution and conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Assist in various projects as required by the Product Owner and/or FATA Management, including conducting demonstrations for external stakeholders, facilitating system migrations from legacy platforms or other FATA providers, launching new funds, onboarding new investors, and managing integration projects.
• Participate in workshops or seminars with vendors as needed to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to shape the vendor's product roadmap.

Your profile:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience with an alternative FATA or AML/KYC system. Exposure to PCS/Investran specialist and/or Fen-X (Fenergo) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Fund industry and/or AML/KYC domain.
• Experience in application support or help desk roles.
• Project management and business analysis experience is advantageous.
• Client-facing or pre-sales experience is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership of ideas from inception to delivery.
• Self-organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficient in engaging professionally with a diverse array of senior managers, project managers, and subject matter experts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.
• Focus on delivering expected solutions and maximizing adoption.
• Knowledge of Tableau is advantageous.
