(Senior) Fund Accountant – Fast Growing PFS, Young Team  

We are currently collaborating with a PFS located in the Cloche d’Or area in order to find them a (Senior) Fund Accountant for their Fund Department. This department, specializing in Alternative Investment Funds, is currently developing quite quickly which is why they are looking to strengthen the team.

This young and dynamic company is based in Luxembourg and is composed of less than 50 people, all active either in accounting, tax, corporate governance or compliance. The people who work in the company also have the chance to benefit from a lot of trainings thanks to regular internal courses in various fields, and career prospects that are personalized to each individual’s wants and needs.

The PFS has existed for more than 10 years now, and has an excellent reputation on the Luxemburgish market. They are clearly becoming a strong competitor for one of the largest players in the country. Indeed, the services for the clients are efficient and qualitative, and the staff turn-over is quite low within the teams, despite the structure’s size.

Your Responsibilities | PFS – Service Provider – Finance – Luxembourg - Accounting

• You are responsible for the daily fund accounting of your files.
• You are able to prepare the documents, and you are not only responsible for their review.
• You are responsible for the preparation of NAV calculations and monthly, quarterly and annual reportings.
• If you have experience with IFRS or USGAAP regulations, you will also handle the documents with these regulations. The major part of your clients will be regulated under LuxGaap.
• You prepare the financial statements and are in direct contact with other teams in the company to handle your work efficiently. 
  
  

Profile and Career Path | PFS – Service Provider – Finance – Luxembourg - Accounting

• You have good knowledge of regulated and alternative funds such as SICAR, SICAV, SIF, RAIF, and with Private Equity and Real Estate Funds in general.
• You are fluent in English. It would represent an advantage for this company if you speak German but it is certainly not mandatory.
• If you have prior experience with debt funds, that would represent a plus.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in fund accounting in a Financial service provider in Luxembourg.
• You are at ease with MS Office and Excel.
• You ideally obtained a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in accounting, management or finance.

• Your salary can go up to 72.000€ gross per year. You will also receive a financial bonus, meal vouchers and in time health insurance as well.
