The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences. People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the disciplinary approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed.

The faculty's research and teaching focuses on social, economic, political and educational issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society. The FHSE offers six Bachelor and twenty Master degrees and a doctoral school providing students with the necessary knowledge and high-qualified skills to succeed in their future career.

Your Role...

The Administrative staff will be in charge of teaching budget administration at FHSE Finance Team at Deanery level.

  • General administrative support, tasks within standards procedures
  • Purchase orders, follow-up and verifying invoices, travel expenses, etc.
  • Tracking & monitoring budgets for the doctoral school and study Programmes
  • Support the preparation of budget for teaching programme with the Administrator
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholder
  • Centralizes all adjunct teaching staff admin procedures and liaising with the legal dept of the UL

What we expect from you…

  • 1 years of relevant working experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Higher vocational certificate or diploma or equivalent by experience
  • Sense for organization and detail, rigorous
  • IT skills : EXCEL, WORD, SAP/fiori is an asset
  • Flexibility to react to urgencies and to interact with a large variety of people
  • Strong service-oriented, problem-solving mindset, can do attitude
  • Diplomacy and communication skills
  • Professional and collegial, reliable
  • Business English and French, knowledge in German is an asset
