Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product/Service Owner to lead the development and management of a crucial development platform that will be utilized by hundreds of developers within a public administration context. As part of our dynamic IT services team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the platform, aligning it with the strategic objectives of the public administration.


Responsibilities:


  1. Platform Vision and Strategy:
  • Develop a clear and compelling vision for the development platform, aligned with the goals and objectives of the public administration.
  • Formulate and execute a strategic roadmap that outlines the evolution of the platform over time.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to understand their needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders within the public administration to ensure the platform meets their requirements.
  1. Product Development and Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and maintenance.
  • Work closely with development teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and impact.
  1. User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the platform provides an intuitive and user-friendly experience for developers.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and enhance the platform's interface.
  1. Release Planning and Deployment:
  • Develop and maintain a release schedule, coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to inform users about upcoming releases and changes.
  1. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the platform and regularly monitor and report on its performance.
  • Implement optimization strategies to enhance platform efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  1. Security and Compliance:
  • Collaborate with security experts to ensure the platform adheres to industry best practices and complies with relevant regulations.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure a secure development environment.
  1. Documentation and Training:
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for developers, including user guides, API documentation, and best practices.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions to empower developers to effectively use the platform.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a similar context.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with public administration processes and requirements is a plus.


Requirements:


  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
  • Strong experience in containerization, with a proven track record of effectively leveraging containerization technologies to enhance software development and deployment processes (mandatory).
