SOGETI is looking for a Bid Manager to join our company.
As a part of the Market Belux, the candidate will be responsible to Bid Manage pursuits. In this role, you will work with various stakeholders toward a successful bid submission. This includes contributing to bid-winning strategies, conducting research, writing, and editing proposals.
The key aspect of this role includes working with multiple stakeholders (internal/external) and adhering to budgetary & time constraints.
Your challenge
- Take complete ownership of driving the bid, throughout different stages of RFP starting from Deal Evaluation, Story Boarding, solution articulation, proposal summary & writing, internal approvals, till the final submission to the customer;
- Manage virtual bid teams at remote locations and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, and finance, commercial, legal and delivery;
- Analyzing the tender document to understand the needs of the client;
- Planning bid preparation to ensure that deadlines are met and within bid budget;
- Manage and coordinate stakeholder relationships the Sales, Marketing and Delivery organizations throughout the bid cycle;
- Work along with Sales/Front office and Delivery teams on RFP/RFQ’s requirements for proposal content by analyzing the bid details, solutioning concepts and associated risks for the project;
- Liaising with other managers to agree bid details;
- Collating materials provided by various departments and ensuring a uniform tone across the overall document;
- Ensure the consistent application of the Bid Process Guidelines and review to all the assigned pursuits;
- Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids;
- Ensuring that the bid is accurate and delivered on time;
- Ensure that the win rate is maximized through the appropriate and timely engagement of sales, commercial and subject matter experts in the bid process;
- Capability in delivering winning, multi-million opportunities;
- Provide best-in-class bid support to the sales community;
- Preparing case studies and other reference materials;
- Part of a highly competent team of qualified self-managed professionals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Skills & Requirements
- Have previously worked with Tier I IT services organizations with a minimum total work experience of 7 years; out of which at least 3 years are in Bid Management and Pre-sales;
- Demonstrable experience of working on large and complex bids as a Bid Manager or equivalent;
- Experience within a complex solution environment requiring interaction with senior management / the executive board;
- Strong organizational, facilitation and project management skills;
- Experience, capability in client interfacing roles;
- Highly credible with the ability to influence both internally with colleagues, and externally with clients;
- Determined and enthusiastic in bringing pursuits to a successful closure;
- Superb written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Deadline-driven and committed to excellence;
- Knowledge of the French & English language;
- APMP / equivalent certified professional will be preferred;
- Ability to use computers and software competently.
Education:
5+ years university degree; and at least 7 years of professional experience; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
