ING Luxembourg is looking for a Head of Performance and Rewards (Expert Lead Performance and Reward V) who sets the standards for their expertise area and takes responsibility for developing, innovating, and safeguarding knowledge in the field of expertise. The Head of Performance and Rewards designs, builds, implements, and owns people solutions in Performance & Reward including Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Pensions, and International Mobility to enable the organization to attract and retain talent. In this position you will be part of the HR team in the COE Performance and Rewards and your reporting line will be to the People Officer and functionally to the Head of Performance & Reward Belux.

You will be collaborating with HRBP Leads, Heads of People Services, Talent & Learning you contribute to shaping the ING People Vision.

Key responsibilities:

  • Your responsibilities include designing and implementing comprehensive rewards and benefits programs aligned with the ING's vision and values and keeping up to date with evolution.

  • Navigating the regulatory landscape, you turn challenges into opportunities.

  • Develop Market intelligence, understanding our competitive positioning and where we can differentiate, help in building and aligning salary benchmarks.

  • Your role spans Compensation & Benefits, involving expertise in reward processes, budgeting, governance and regulatory activities, benefits and performance management.

  • In this influential position, you advise senior leadership on all compensation and benefits matters

  • You organize workshop to equip senior managers and leaders with the new policies

  • You have at disposal an internal ING network within the P&R global community.

  • A minimum of 10-15 years as an HR professional, senior member of an organization in a highly regulated environment

  • Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives

  • Proven stakeholder management and proficient communication skills

Understanding of what matters to individuals in the field of rewards and benefits.

  • You'll distill opinions, making trade-offs between innovation, process excellence, compliance, and employee priorities.

  • An analytical mindset, data-driven approach, and strong stakeholder skills are crucial.

  • Sufficient technical and data skills

  • Content-driven role, effective people management is a prerequisite.
