Business Analyst / Customer Journey Expert
ING Luxembourg is looking for a Business Analyst / Customer Journey Expert
who will be working in the tribe Wholesale Banking Products & Channels. The aim of this tribe is to deliver high quality products and services to the Wholesale Banking department for an improved uniform client experience. The team is SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Wholesale Banking and Financial Market & Global Treasury functional lines and leverage as much as possible on all ING-wide initiatives.
Role overview
This role requires a significant knowledge of the Wholesale Banking products and finance processes. It combines a client-focused approach with analytical skills and result oriented thinking.
Job description
You work in a Squad within ING's Agile organization, and you work with other experts to achieve the Squad's mission.
Your key activities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to the products in scope.
- Truly understand your products, services and customer processes end-to-end and keep this knowledge up to date, in line with external regulations, risk and compliance policies.
- Evaluate the implications of platform changes and variations in processes on existing products, services, and operations, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Perform Risk assessment and get seconde lines approval
- Work closely with Tech to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Prepare functional specifications to guide development teams and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Using your expertise and experience to contribute to all sprint events (planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos),
Your profile
Competencies / Behavior:
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, lending processes – from origination to deal tracking to accounting to settlement.
- Knowledge in Finance processes and regulatory reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Act as a team player and have a valuable contribution to the collective goals both regarding the concrete deliverables and the teamwork on itself.
Experience:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business analyst or similar role, in the same domain
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with proficiency in tools like, Azure, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and in French (verbal and written)
