Missions

• Managing, monitoring, and coordinating projects;
• Conducting specific studies related to the evaluation of the education system;
• Contributing to the development of national and international education statistics publications, including data collection, processing, and organization;
• Proposing and negotiating resources (human, financial, timelines, materials, etc.);
• Overseeing project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budget constraints;
• Preparing reports on project status and developments;
• Conceptualizing and presenting projects both internally and externally;
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders and experts;
• According to the technical knowledge of the candidate, the missions may include:
• Gathering client feedback on statistical products and identifying potential needs through meetings and interviews;
• Conducting analyses and specific studies related to the evaluation of the school system;
• Contribute to the development of national and international education statistics: data collection, processing, and analysis, and participate in meetings of organizations responsible for statistics;
• Clean, structure, and link data;
• Automate the production of statistics and reporting;
• Manage and administer databases and infrastructure;
• Improve the existing data storage system (automate data ingestion and ensure data consistency).

Compétences techniques

• Strong knowledge and experience in project management and organization;
• Ability to evaluate and optimize the time and resources required for different project phases;
• Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential project risks;
• Excellent writing skills, with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities;
• Proficiency in office software and data management tools;
• Ability to analyse data effectively and critically evaluate information constitutes an asset;
• Familiarity with research methodologies and policy/program analysis is a plus.

• Proficiency or experience in R / Python / Julia or other statistical tools;
• Experience with using (SQL) and/or setting up and/or administering a database (Postgres, Oracle, etc.);
• Experience with software development and related tools (git, ssh, Powershell/bash, etc.);
• Experience with implementing data warehouse projects is an asset.

Diplômes

Vous êtes titulaire d’un grade ou diplôme délivré par un établissement d’enseignement supérieur reconnu par l’État du siège de l’établissement et sanctionnant l’accomplissement avec succès d’un bachelor with a strong interest in statistics and IT and the field of education.

Le grade ou diplôme requis doit correspondre au moins au niveau 6 tel que défini par le Cadre luxembourgeois des qualifications.

Expérience

Vous avez une expérience d'au moins 3 ans dans le domaine.

Langues

Vous répondez aux exigences de connaissances des 3 langues administratives pour le groupe d'indemnité A2.

Nationalité

Vous êtes ressortissant d’un État membre de l’Union européenne.
