Shape Your Future with Purpose. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join the Fund Administration Team of one of its clients, a leading Banking institution on the Luxembourgish market.

Your Role

As Senior Fund Accountant, you will calculate and control Net Asset Values for Luxembourg funds, in line with Lux GAAP or IFRS, internal accounting procedures and the ISAE 3402 standard. You will act as the second level of control and help maintain high quality standards across internal and external relationships.

Your key responsibilities

• Supporting Insurance and Banking institutions in client servicing and operational activities (e.g. cash
• Calculate, control and validate NAVs with a Zero Default Quality mindset
• Perform and review reconciliations (cash, securities, shares in issue) and explain any differences
• Follow up on pending items and escalate to management where items are long-standing or have an impact
• Check that pricing of underlyings out of tolerance is correct against the usual pricing sources
• Provide answers to anyone responsible for an action in the NAV cycle and support the follow-up of client queries
• Respect client NAV publication cut-offs and adapt your daily planning accordingly
• Contribute to fund lifecycle tasks: share class launches and deactivations, liquidations
• Support year-end closing and audit: make all documents available on time and respond to auditors within two business days
• Understand and assess the operational and financial risks attached to the role, including through Self Risk Assessment documents, and report any error or incident to your manager immediately
• Take part in projects: fund migrations, mergers, new fund launches, liquidations
• Support the team: improve procedures, train juniors and new joiners, perform second level checks and archive the NAV pack

Your Profile

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
• At least 4–5 years' experience in fund accounting or fund administration, ideally in Luxembourg
• Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP and/or IFRS
• Proven experience in NAV calculation and second level control
• Comfortable with industry systems (Multifonds, Hi-Portfolio, eFront or similar) and with Excel
• Strong client and partner orientation, with a focus on providing a high-quality service
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Rigorous, resilient, detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines
• Fluent English is required; French is an asset and additional languages are a plus
• You must already hold the right to work in Luxembourg (EU/EEA national or holder of a valid work permit). Applications requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered.
