Role & responsibilities
- Provide administrative/legal support to the two divisions of the Financial Crime Unit, for example, by reviewing/pre-analysing documents or comments received by the various CSSF supervisory departments on various types of documents
- Contribute to the preparation of files for members of the Department who represent the CSSF in international or European forums
- Manage requests for cooperation/exchanges with national authorities
- Consult databases in the context of investigations
- Update lists and statistics kept by the department for LBC/FT purposes
- Responsible for archiving for the department
- Processing mail received by the department (distribution and internal filing)
- Secretarial work (e.g. scheduling meetings, sending mail)
- General collaboration on the department's various tasks
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) in law or advanced technician's certificate (BTS) in legal assistance or administrative work
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a legal or administrative assistant, paralegal, or legal secretary
- Perfect written and spoken French, good level of English required. Proficiency in German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an asset
- Good knowledge of the main office tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Excellent organisational, coordination, and communication skills
- Good writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities
- Adopt a proactive and dynamic approach. Make sure you are thorough, and understand the importance of confidentiality and availability
- Capable of integrating and coordinating exchanges with two divisions
- Capable to work independently
The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).
Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
