The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) acts exclusively in the public interest. Our mission is to ensure the stability of Luxembourg’s financial sector, protect financial consumers, and promote a fair, transparent, and secure financial market, one of the key pillars of the Luxembourg economy.

The CSSF is also strongly engaged at the European and international levels. Our employees actively participate in international working groups and collaborate closely with European supervisory authorities to strengthen the stability of the financial sector across Europe and beyond.

With more than 1,000 employees across 31 specialised business areas, the CSSF offers a dynamic and diverse working environment.
