Description
- As a Corporate Lawyer / Jurist, you will be entrusted with handling a diverse portfolio of client cases, including international and local corporations, private equity firms, real estate investors, and financial institutions.
- Working under the guidance of the department's Partner, your primary responsibilities will involve supporting and counseling clients on corporate issues such as restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, migrations, and joint ventures.
- Your role will also require you to create and examine agreements and transactional paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- You will be expected to respond promptly to client inquiries, participate in client meetings, and contribute to conference calls as needed.
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on corporate law developments will be crucial aspects of your daily tasks.
- Collaboration is key in this role, and you will work closely with your fellow team members to achieve shared objectives efficiently.
Profile
Our client is seeking a legal professional who possesses the following qualifications and traits:- Minimum of 3 years of experience working at a law firm in Luxembourg specializing in corporate law.
- Completion of a Juris Doctor or equivalent degree in law, preferably supplemented by a postgraduate qualification.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English. Proficiency in German, Italian, and/or Luxembourgish is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively take on responsibilities and drive initiatives.
- Enthusiasm for tackling challenges and embracing continuous learning opportunities.
- Strong team player with the capacity to also excel independently.
