Your tasks
As a member of the legal team of the group’s holding company, you are involved in activities conducted in several countries, as such:
- You identify, prevent, and mitigate legal risks that may affect the Encevo Group companies
- You advise and assist the Encevo Group companies in the legal aspects of their activities, in various areas of business law, energy law, and mergers & acquisitions
- You draft and review contracts, and participate in negotiation together with business units
- You conduct legal risk analyses and provide legal opinions and recommendations to business units and management
- You collaborate in establishing structures and follow up on the legal aspects of the operational integration of subsidiaries, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions
- You manage litigation, with support of external counsels when required
- You participate in legal monitoring and training to the business, contribute to knowledge management within the legal department, and implement the resulting developments within the Group’s entities
- You participate in the drafting and implementation of internal procedures
Your profile
- You hold a Master's degree or equivalent in Law (with a focus on commercial, corporate, or business law) obtained in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, or Germany
- You have minimum 10 years of experience in a law firm and/or bigger company
- You have sound knowledge of business law (commercial, corporate, insolvency…). Good knowledge in competition law, new technology law and/or public procurement law is an asset. Knowledge of Luxemburgish law or energy law is nice to have but not mandatory.
- You have a high capacity for analysis and synthesis, and can manage projects and priorities effectively
- You are proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented with a strong team spirit
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in French and English. A good knowledge of German or Dutch will be considered as an advantage.
