We are currently looking for a:

Network & Security Engineer (L2)

Based in our Hamm Office

Your role:

• Help Arendt build functional systems that improve customer experience and general network of the IT&R solutions and infrastructures;
• Manage infrastructure components (On premise / Cloud);
• Deploy security request, FW & proxy rules (On premise / Cloud);
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Network infrastructure based on Cisco technologies on campus infrastructure;
• Configure and manage campus network devices, such as routers, switches (stacking), Wifi controller, ISE ;
• Maintain and improve network & security monitoring;
• Provide Technical Support (Level 2) to help desk;
• Collaboration with Level 3 Network & Security to ensure successful implementation and integration of new technologies;
• Collaborate with Level 1 to improve knowledge and autonomous;
• Initiate, develop and follow automation tasks.

Your profile:

• You hold a Bachelor degree or a Master degree in business informatics, information/security systems or related field;
• You have 3+ year of experience in IT with a successful practice as Network & Security Operations Engineer;
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• You have problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude;
• You are organized, rigorous, proactive and customer-oriented;
• You are recognized as a team player and able to work autonomously;
• You have a good command of English and French, both spoken and written;
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Certification such as CCNA can be an asset;
• Automation such as Ansible, scripting can be an asset.

Network Technical skills:

• Routing : BGP, VRF;
• Switching : Spanning-tree;
• Wireless : WLC;
• Access Security : NAC, certificate authentication (dot1x), MAB;
• Network Platform : Cisco IOS, IOS-XE.

Security Technical skills:

• Security Firewall : Palo Alto;
• Proxy : McAfee;
• Any knowledge/experience with Checkpoint, Firepower, NSX-T and Fortinet appliance will be considered as an asset;
• Any knowledge/experience with Algosec;
• Any knowledge/experience with ESA, IronPort will be considered as an asset.
