To organize a recruitment event 100% Luxembourgish but outside the country’s borders; that was the challenge set by Moovijob.com, a key player for recruitment in Luxembourg.
The goal was clearly achieved on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at the famous Philharmonie de Paris. 20 Luxembourgish companies were able to meet 684 talents from IT, Finance and Law/Legal professions.
"We had set ourselves two objectives for this evening: to promote the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg abroad, but also to enable the attending companies to meet a new type of candidate who is interested in Luxembourg!" explains Yannick Frank - Director of Moovijob.com.
To achieve this, a major communication campaign was launched in the Paris region and beyond.
As registration was mandatory, 1,246 people expressed their wish to participate in this event: a first proof of Luxembourg's attractiveness and the success of the concept.
From this moment on the hard work began for Moovijob.com's Sourcing department: on the one hand, the details of the job positions to be filled, and on the other, a CV-by-CV analysis of the people registered, to then carry out a careful pre-selection, matching supply and demand, but to also invite only guests interested in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the event.
Over 660 people received the awaited confirmation mail, giving them access to the evening. The evening was a great success, with a continous flow of conversation and exchanges from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A prestigious venue, a relaxed atmosphere, petits fours, drinks, music, lounge spaces... that all together made for a relaxed evening, all while discussing career plans.
On-the-spot feedback from the attending employers has far exceeded expectations, with the first job interviews already scheduled by recruiters who are obviously keen not to miss out on any rare treasures.
After Paris, Moovijob.com will now take Luxembourg to Brussels on June 13 at the Maison de la Poste (Tour & Taxis). A different country, but a similar goal: enabling around twenty Luxembourg companies to recruit effectively. 😊
