1: Luxembourg is the only remaining Grand Duchy in the world.



2: Luxembourg has two official flags. The "Roude Léiw" (the red lion) is used within the country, while the "Rout, wäiß, blo" (red, white, blue) represents Luxembourg outside the country.




3: Luxembourg has three official languages: Luxembourgish, French, and German. These three languages are used in administration. However, the use of these languages varies greatly depending on the company, the media, and especially the geographical area. English is also becoming increasingly common.

680,000: That’s the number of people living in Luxembourg. Nearly half of the residents are not Luxembourg nationals. The Portuguese make up the largest group (15% of the population), followed by the French (8%), Italians (4%), Belgians (3%), and Germans (2%).
