About us

On behalf of our client, a global financial services provider, we are looking for a:

Senior Accountant – Private Equity & Real Estate (m/f)

Mission

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake full responsibility of a client relationship regarding accounting deliverables, supported by the Manager

  • Arrange the production of accounting deliverables for a diverse portfolio of the Company’s clients (Soparfi, SIF, SICAR, SCSp and RAIF maintained under LUX GAAP) supported by Fund Accountants

  • Submit/ review regulatory reporting to CSSF and BCL as applicable

  • Ensure compliance with the procedures of the team and wider organisation

  • Develop effective working relationships with clients and intermediaries, escalating to the Manager when needed

  • Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of carried interest and other complex calculations in accordance with the fund documentation

  • Ensure all work undertaken complies with governing documentation of the entities being serviced, and applicable regulatory requirements

  • Liaise with clients confidently and knowledgeably, proactively solve issues and respond to inquiries

  • Assist with planning of annual audits and liaise with different counterparties to establish timetables for the receipt of valuations, advisers’ reports and other relevant information

  • Liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process

  • Perform other aspects of fund administration as required from time to time

  • Deputize if required during Manager’s absences

Profile

Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting or Finance (on-going ACCA qualification or equivalent would be considered as an asset)

  • Between 4 and 5 years of relevant professional experience in Private Equity in Luxembourg, preferably gained either within the financial sector or Big 4

  • Knowledge about legal structures and tax environment in Luxembourg

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent numeracy, analytical and organizational skills, ability to conduct a thorough self-review

  • Ability to think out of the box and deliver pragmatic solutions

  • Excellent inter-personal skills in dealing with both clients and colleagues

  • Ability to coach and share knowledge

  • Fluent in English is mandatory (French or any other language would be considered as a plus)
