We are currently looking for a:
Road Brokerage Employee (M/F)
Your mission:
- Communication with customers, forwarders and branches worldwide.
- Registration of shipments in the STAR and EU programme.
- Tracking shipments and proactively dealing with problems and informing the customer.
- Rate agreements with customers, branches and transport companies.
- Processing of complains.
- Organisation and tracking of special transports with corresponding status reposts to the customer.
- Preparation of loading orders for special transports.
- Representation of the local area if required.
- Optimisation of processes, capacities and costs.
- Planning international trips with a focus on meeting lead times.
- Individual projects.
- Completion of missing key events.
- Focus on spot market brokerage.
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a forwarding and logistics service clerk.
- Professional experience desirable
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Good written and spoken English and German. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
- High degree of flexibility and communication skills.
- Strong customer orientation, as well as assertiveness and resilience.
- Actively live the service concept and implement it effectively.
- Ability to work in a team.
