The Société de l'Aéroport de Luxembourg (lux-Airport) is the aerodrome operator responsible for the operation of the airport infrastructure. Our platform provides, among other things, direct flight services to more than 100 destinations via 16 airlines.
We have more than 350 employees, with different backgrounds and 19 nationalities.
Together we work daily to ensure the efficient operation of the airport and to provide a quality service to our passengers.

In order to continue to meet our commitments and to develop other projects, we are currently recruiting : an Airside Inspector - Airport Operations.
The objective of this recruitment is to coordinate and to support the activities of the Airside Operations Team.
You will work under the responsibility of the Airport Duty Managers.

Your responsibilities
Your daily tasks
- Being the first point of contact on the ground at lux-Airport for daily operations
- Carry out Airside inspections to identify risks, take the necessary initial actions or decide to escalate a situation
- Supervising the airport's Airside activities to ensure compliance and safety in their execution
- Assist Airside partners in operations and ensure coordination in case of specific circumstances (emergency, winter conditions...)
- In case of a problem or emergency, coordinate with any Airside actor to ensure the efficiency and safety of Airside operations
- Controlling compliance with the pre-requisites for carrying out work, taking the necessary action in the event of non-compliance and ensuring that operations on the fringes of the work can be carried out in compliance with safety standards
- Ensuring the implementation and improvement of procedures and instructions related to Airside activities
- Participating in the coordination of the various internal and external parties involved in the execution of operations
Your other missions
- Participating in the implementation of the airport emergency plan
- Coordinating winter-related interventions with the LACC, monitor the progress of the Winter Ops teams and provide feedback on the effectiveness of their intervention
- Participating in the integration of new employees

The required profile
Studies / training :
Bachelor or equivalent experience
Experience :
First experience in an operational airport environment required
Skills and knowledge required:

- French : fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
- English : fluent spoken and written (B2 minimum) > Level 4 according to the applicable ICAO regulations (ICAO Language Proficiency Descriptors)
