As a Fund Accountant, you will join the team of a leading financial services company specializing in the management of investment funds. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused services while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will be at the forefront of fund accounting operations, contributing to the accurate and timely delivery of financial reports and compliance documentation for a diverse portfolio of funds.
Job Responsabilities :
As a Fund Accountant, your primary responsabilities will include :
- Fund Accounting : Maintaining accurate records of all fund transactions and preparing periodic financial statements.
- NAV Calculation: Performing daily, weekly, or monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations to ensure precise fund valuation.
- Transaction Processing: Monitoring and recording all fund-related transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborating with auditors to ensure seamless and successful audits.
- Regulatory Reporting: Preparing and submitting reports for regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Client Relations: Serving as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses.
- Compliance Support: Assisting in KYC/AML documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Partnering with portfolio managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to support fund operations and ensure accuracy.
Candidate Profile :
As a Fund Accountant, you bring the following qualifications :
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years in fund accounting, asset management, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of fund structures, Lux GAAP, and IFRS. Familiarity with alternative investment funds (AIFs) is a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or German is an advantage.
- Analytical Skills: High proficiency in Excel and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Team Spirit: A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
