Mission:

  • You will contribute to the KYC function by ensuring that ING's activities are in line with regulatory requirements, that periodic risk assessments are executed and identified risks are being followed up for timely closure

  • You will follow the appropriate procedures to assess and support the mitigation of KYC related risks

  • You will conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.

  • You will provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of KYC policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues.

  • You will explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers as well as related issues

  • You will implement corrective / preventive actions or continuous improvement initiatives, and monitoring them to make sure they are effective.

  • You will investigate standard incidents using current regulatory and compliance processes, systems and procedures, and take action to solve immediate compliance issues.

  • You will develop short- or medium-term plans to achieve planned (internal and external) commitments.

  • Proven experience of managing a program, group interaction and stakeholder management

  • Sound experience with managing operational risks in a financial institution, profound knowledge of AML/FEC policies and requirements.

  • Capacity to build in strong-identity teams that to apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals

  • Good communication skills

  • Analytical (quantitative/ qualitative) approach and mind-set

  • Result orientation

  • Experience in banking and in KYC of min 5 years

This position is on a definite period of time of 2 years however after that period we are able to provide opportunities among ING for the interested candidates.
