Signal Processing & Algorithm Engineer (m/f)

Located in Bissen / Luxembourg

 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Analyzing internal algorithm requirements and extract algorithm design targets
  • Identifying and analyzing algorithm subsystem weaknesses and performance, develop quality reporting and collaborate with other Signal Processing and Algorithm Engineers
  • Developing and maintaining algorithm/pre-processing concepts and solutions
  • Exploring state-of-the-art algorithm concepts
  • Modelling and simulating algorithm behavior
  • Supporting the documentation of the algorithm/pre-processing development status
  • Implementing efficient, hardware-aware algorithm designs with strong cost-benefit focus
  • Promoting best implementation practices and reusable methods
  • Developing tools to support the analysis of your algorithm solutions
  • Defining algorithm test plans and verifying designs through simulation, testing and debugging
  • Validating and analyzing performance reports with expected design goals
  • Analyzing algorithm subsystem performance and define mitigation plans
  • Supporting quality reporting and documentation
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and cross-technology exploration


 

You would need to meet the following requirements:

  • ​Engineering degree in telecom, electronics, signal processing, computer science, mathematics or equivalent
  • Profound knowledge in development of state-of-the art radar technology and perception algorithms for different sensor technologies (e.g. radar, 2D/3D cameras, lidar)
  • Good experience in radar signal processing, in particular algorithms for point cloud generation 
  • Experience with: 
  • tracking, fusion and ML/AI algorithms, experience with time series modeling is a plus
  • Matlab and Simulink including Model-Based Design, SVN, DOORS, MS Office
  • Capability to:
  • develop integration-ready algorithms considering the limitations of heterogeneous multi-processor environments
  • extract algorithm and pre-processing requirements from algorithm architecture specifications - analysis and management thereof
  • present/decompose complex technical problems for non-technical stakeholders
  • prioritize 
  • decompose and debug complex Algo/SW issues and its effects on the processing chain
  • Basic knowhow in FMEA, Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
  • Good technical documentation skills and capability to write Algo/Embedded SW interface specifications
  • Goal oriented attitude with intrinsic motivation to find creative solutions
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, team-player
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, German and/or French are considered strong assets
