Our client, a top 5 global freight forwarding company, is looking for their future Dispatcher.
You are in charge of dispatching of lorries and local transport. You make appointments with customers and organise special transport in the local area. You rate agreements with customers, different company branches and transport companies. You monitor pallet stock and ensure departures and adherence to loading and delivery deadlines.
This is not exhaustive, so you can expect a varied job.
In order to succeed in the role, you have 3 years' experience as a Dispatcher or complete vocational training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk.
You have strong processes and systems implementation skills. You have a high degree of flexibility and communication skills. You are customer oriented and have assertiveness and able to work under pressure.
You fluently speak English - French or German is a plus.
