We are looking for a Head of Transfer Agent (M/F) on a permanent contract.
As a head of Transfer Agent, your responsibilities include overseeing the following areas in the management of transfer agency services for Luxembourg-based companies.
- Assistance in the development of procedures and policies in accordance with CSSF circulars and relevant national and European legislation.
- Supervision of team members and coaching of junior staff.
- Implementation of a robust AML framework to ensure investor KYC requirements are met at registration and adequately reviewed according to their risk classification.
- Coordination and participation in the daily deliverables of the transfer agency and operations management.
- Establishment and updating of effective systems, resources, structure, and expertise to support current and projected activity levels related to the Transfer Agency.
- Promotion of the company’s activities, particularly the Transfer Agency, to existing and future clients.
- Review of transactions: subscription, redemption, transfer, and conversion orders, as well as merger events, equalizations, and dividend distributions.
- Onboarding and ongoing review of new clients and investors.
- Verification of the updating of shareholder registers, cancellation and issuance of certificates, and distribution of dividends.
- Implementation, management, and optimization of the Domos software.
Your qualifications:
- Diploma in Law or very strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate law
- 7-8 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in KYC (Know Your Customer)
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Proactive and initiative-driven
- Organized and methodical approach
- Effective task prioritization and workload management
- High level of autonomy
- Excellent communication skills, flexible and real ability to manage
