EuroCaution, the leading insurance broker for Bond & Surety on the Belgian & Luxembourg market with more than 1500 active customers and 2500 construction projects guaranteed, is looking for a new Back-Office officer & Accounting assistant to join our new Team.
Your Mission
- The acquisition of new - and development of existing - Customers within various sectors but mainly Real Estate Development & Construction in Belgium.
- Manage the development and retention of existing customer relations with the aim of maximizing income growth by offering E-Cautio unique Sales Proposal.
- Manage all customer communication proactively to ensure that the customer is supported and informed on all aspects of the services provided and within agreed service levels!
- Demonstrate commercial acumen to identify new business opportunities with major companies.
- Pursue and close Sales to ensure company sales and profitability targets.
- Assist the Chief Commercial Officer in the preparation of action plans for the effective identification of sales leads and prospects.
- Manage customer accounts in EuroCaution IT tools and generate customer reports and sales plans.
- Propose, present, and discuss solutions with all stakeholders within our customers and prospects companies.
Your professional skills
- Good communicator who easily engages and interacts with new and existing customers using a broad range of channels (phone, email, face-to-face meetings) with the ability to quickly build relationships.
- Able to work quickly and accurately using multiple systems and adapt to new insights.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative.
- Data-driven with the ability to prepare customer reports, analyse and interpret data and identify inefficiency.
- Strong team spirit and able to work in an international environment.
- 5+ years’ experience at an Insurance Broker, an Insurance company, a Bank or a financial service company
Other required skills
- Native Belgian Flemish or Dutch & Advanced English both written and verbal, French could be an advantage
- Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office & CRM TOOLS
- Insurance broker, sub broker or Insurance agent licence is an advantage.
